The sixth and final edition of the National Road Series on Zwift will take place at 10 am this Saturday, July 11th on the Innsbruck Achterbahn course.

Pat Eddy, Sam Eddy, and Mark O’Brien will all race for InForm TM Insight MAKE.

Under 19 National Time Trial Champion Pat Eddy has found the series tough but fun.

“I’ve had a couple of good weeks and a couple of shockers to be honest but it’s been a good training tool and it’s been good to get some racing in,” Eddy said.

The NRS on Zwift series has given Eddy a taste of what to expect in the National Road Series when it resumes.

“I haven’t raced in the NRS out on the road yet, I can see that it’s pretty tough competition. It’s been good to get that fortnightly reminder that I’ve got to keep training to keep up with these boys.”

Race 6 will take place on the Innsbruck Achterbahn course. It’s the longest and most testing course of the series, totaling to 47.4km and 973 m in elevation.

“Those two 7km climbs on the Innsbruck circuit will be tough as well as the short 700m climb, so hopefully I can hang on over the climbs and it comes down to a bunch kick because I go alright in them on the trainer,” Eddy said.

The race will begin at 10 am and will be live streamed to Zwift and the National Road Series Facebook Page.
