Recently, 19-year-old InForm TM Insight MAKE rider Will Moloney-Morton joined Instagram live to chat about his cycling career to date.

Moloney-Morton’s love for cycling began when he competed in triathlons as a kid.

“I did some of the little kid triathlons and I liked the riding side of it. I liked going fast so I kept with it,” Moloney-Morton said.

Mid-2018 Moloney-Morton joined InForm TM Insight MAKE in his second year of under 19s through the Compañeros development team, after a good result at the Nationals.

Moloney-Morton has made plenty of highlights in his career so far. In 2018 he was the under 19 Victorian Road Race champion and finished second in the criterium.

But his biggest highlight to date was claiming three podiums and a victory in his 2018 Belgium campaign.

“I took the win in one of the races in Belgium and I got to do my trademark bow and arrow salute. So I took the bow out of the back and shot that coming over the line so that  was a pretty good feeling.”

The 19-year old’s long term goal is to race at the UCI world tour level in the next five to ten years.

“Like anyone I’d want to hit the big leagues, go world tour and make a pro career out of it. So that’s the aim but we will see what happens.

Everyone at InForm TM Insight MAKE is excited to see what the future holds for Will when cycling resumes from the COVID-19 suspension.
