Specialized launches the new Ares road shoe

With the technology of textiles, manufacturing and pressure mapping quickly changing the way we look at cycling footwear, it was only fitting that Specialized would release something so game changing.

We introduce the new S-Works Ares Road shoes, featuring a new fastening layout to any other Specialized shoe, more ventilation than the S-Works 7’s and presents unrivalled comfort straight out of the box thanks to its sock-like design. We also can’t go past the new and updated BOA system offering yet again, more adjustability and ease of use.

Specialized have done the testing, and on paper, we can truly say these shoes are 1% faster than any other road shoe they have ever produced. With too many world tour wins coming down to millimetres on the line, its safe to say the Ares are a welcome addition to the team’s gear selection.

The Ares is now available Australia wide in multiple different colours, including black, white and red.
