The fourth edition of the National Road Series on Zwift will take place at 10 am this Saturday, June 13th on the Richmond UCI Worlds route.

Tom Benton, Josh Duffy, Pat Eddy, Nathan Elliott, and Mark O’Brien will all race for InForm TM Insight MAKE.

In race 3 a fortnight ago, it came down to a bunch kick with Tom Benton sprinting past Graeme Frislie and Liam White to claim a narrow victory.

“I was licking my lips at what was happening. I was confident once we went over the last climb as a bunch, my sprint would outrank everyone else,” Benton said.

The team executed their pre-race plan with Mark O’Brien making the race harder by attacking multiple times throughout the race, which favoured Benton and allowed him to win the sprint.

“It favoured into my hands being a harder race with a sprint towards the end,” Benton said.

Race 4 will take place on the Richmond UCI Worlds route, which is a replica of the 2015 UCI Road World Championships course in Richmond, Virginia, USA. The course is 2 laps, 32.6km, and 314m in elevation.

“I’m pretty excited, it should play into my strengths again. There are a few shorter climbs in there, which I don’t think will be enough for a breakaway of climbers to stay away. Hopefully, it’s a reduced bunch sprint,” Benton said.

The race will begin at 10 am and will be live streamed to Zwift and the National Road Series Facebook Page.
