We introduce our rider line up for the Melbourne to Warnambool classic. This 267km monster is the world's second oldest race, after the Liège–Bastogne–Liège. The field was stacked at yesterday's Elite Men's Crit. With hitters from big teams all hungry for the green and gold. Our elite riders Steele and Kell went in with the mindset of giving it a good crack and to play things as they came. We went in with the mindset that we would do our best, and this year the best is what we delivered! With Carter putting down an amazing effort in the U23 TT coming in first with 36:50 followed by Conor Leahy in 2nd. But nothing could prepare us for what we were about to witness in the Elite men's. With Luke jumping in the deep end and doing the elite race. Lucas Plapp stomped across the line in 1st place with a time of 46:00:73 followed by Luke Durbridge behind by over 42 seconds. Our own Kell O'Brien came in with a time of 47:11 landing him 3rd place!
